Red Deer Metals Crew Rolls Through Westerner Days Parade

For the third year in a row, SECURE Metals Recycling proudly rolled through Red Deer’s Westerner Days Parade.

The parade was a blast, and judging by the sound of the crowd, SECURE’s truck is still a fan favourite with the kids. It’s always a great time being out with the community, celebrating the SECURE way.

Big thanks to our summer students, Natasha Barsby, Connor Sholdice, Matthew Sholdice and Alexander Koppenol, for all your help throughout the day. Brenda Bale and Skye Christians led the decorating crew with Natasha, Connor and Matthew, making sure our ride stood out in the crowd.

Gordie Watson took the wheel of our parade truck once again, and Tyler Webb, Kevin Schmidt and Derek Clark got all the logistics of the lugger in order. We couldn’t show up without all of you — thank you to everyone. Here's to another show-stopping year!
